ModUcom at the 2015 New Mexico APCO-NENA Conference

The 2015 New Mexico APCO-NENA Conference came and went this year in a span of only three days. The annual training conference held in Albuquerque, New Mexico was busy as ever with seminars for dispatcher training and leadership discussions led by distinguished speakers, as well as training sessions for interacting with persons with mental impairments and the deaf or hard of hearing. Furthermore, attendees were encouraged to scope out vendors who exhibited their companies offerings and provided live demonstrations of innovative communications technology. ModUcom was one of the many vendors that made an appearance at the conference, exhibiting the All-in-One computer with the NG9-1-1 Screen Display. The display gave attendees a first hand glimpse of the intuitive nature of ModUcom’s Ultra-Com IP. The state-of-the-art system has both radio and telephone capabilities as well as mapping and interoperability in a single software application. Other applications include our built-in dual instant recall recorders, allowing operators to record and play back radio and telephone messages which saves PSAPs over $5000. Additionally, ModUcom supports the life of the system with free technical support and free software upgrades making the Ultra-Com IP one of the most cost effective systems on the market. This year at the New Mexico Conference, the ModUcom booth hosted a ticket raffle, giving attendees a chance to win a Dell Venue 8 Tablet. Many entered the giveaway, however there was only one lucky winner announced at the end of show vendor’s social.
